Air Defense System Activated in Tehran

According to Iran’s official news agency Mehr News Agency, air defense systems were activated in the capital Tehran and engaged targets described as “hostile.”

Mehr reported that the system was deployed in response to perceived enemy elements.

Meanwhile, Israeli media cited a military source stating that no Israeli strike had been carried out against Iran following the activation of the air defense systems.

U.S. officials also noted that the ceasefire between Iran and the United States remains in effect.
